What is a typical lesson like?
A typical lesson starts with the warm ups to get the children ready for the lesson this usually includes getting wet and bubbles. Then we progress to our floats, glides, kicks, and strokes. We end with a safety lesson and give the parent feedback from the lesson. During the whole lesson we also focus on the children having fun and being comfortable in the water, keeping them excited for the next lesson.
Does my child need any special supplies like goggles, towel, etc ?
If you have goggles bring them to class, though for certain skills we like children to be comfortable without goggles. Towels are great to dry off with after lessons so grab it when you head out the door to swim lessons! Please don't bring toys from home in the pool unless asked to by the teacher to help your child adjust. As the months get hotter please take care and protect your child from the rays of the sun with sunscreen.
I have a child with special needs can he take lessons ?
Yes, we would adapt our program to his needs and find alternate ways to teach and help your child learn the needed skills in the water. I have worked with several special needs children over the years and we get very creative in finding ways to help your child learn the best way for them.
Why do i pay the 30.00 deposit?

What is a Pre-Swim, do i have to do it?
For all new swimmers we will do a pre-swim test to determine which swim level they will fit into in our swim school. We have found this to be the most effective way to meet the individual needs of your child. Although it is not a requirement it is highly recommended.
Is there make up lessons if we are out of town or my child is sick?
If the participant misses a class due to sickness or other circumstances we do not offer make up classes or refunds. As Instructors we are hired for your time slot and make-up lessons are not built into the regular fees. Also, an unfair burden is placed on another class if we try to place your swimmer into an existing class to try and work a make-up. Please feel free to talk to Jenna Perry if you miss a lesson, and if we can accommodate a “make-up” without the extra cost or burden we would be happy to do so. Please understand that our position if a make-up can’t be arranged.
Can i pay with credit card?
You can pay with cash, check or credit card.(there is a 3% fee for credit card). If you choose to pay your deposit via credit card the total balance is required when you pay.
